New chapters idea, new class idea
First the new chapter idea:
Guildwars: Arena
GWA would introduce a gigantic arena, grander than any before it. It attacts millions to its renown arena fights. But all is not as good as it seems. While blood of a fighter is on the arena sands is rare, there is more to the arena than white sands and the blood of monsters. The arena is also a focal point for slavery, poachery, and all manner of unspeakable acts. All of this taking place right below the arena itself. This underground place also houses the Blood Pits, an arena were the only rule is; to survive. Slaves are brought to the pits to be thrown to savage exotic animals. Fighters brawl it out till one is down on the groud, taking thier last breath.
I got this idea while looking at Laser light pit fighter class
In pve there would be 2 pathes to choose, the way of the right in the arena, or taking to the pits. The choice would matter because it determines what classes are avilble to you. The arena gives you the Palidin, while the pits give the Pit Fighter. The arean give you more pve like action, while the pits or more like pvp. In arean you would be pitted against mobs of monsters, and team events like ctf. Some dugeon like things too. In pits you fight against other players more often, and timed events like seeing how long you can survive against monsters. In both places you can place bets on your events to earn more renown, which is the currency of the arena/pits. The more renown you the more events are avaible, and the more you can gain. In both places you use renown to buy skills, armor, and weapons. In the arena you can use renown to hire help for your events. In the pits you can use your renown to hire someone to sabatoge the opposition.

The palidin im working on right now
Palidin
The palidin is pretty much what is sounds like, a warrior with some minor heals and stuff. These guys are like uber tanks if you ask me while the warriors or more offensive and i think that the palidin will have no place in pvp while the warriors are still a big part of it. But its still different just keep reading
Armor
Thier armor is high, 90 max but each piece has a -5% movement speed debuff so with a full set your moving 25% slower. Hope that balances it out.
Armor sets:
Obsidian-90 al, +10 al againt earth, reduces choas damage
Pyrite-90 al, +10 against fire, reduces shadow damage
Opal-90 al, +10 against cold, reduces holy damge
Slate-90 al, +10 against lighting
Cavilers-80 al, no speed debuff
Weapons
The palidin wields only a simple mace and shield, but he puts them to good use.
Type: Mace
Range: Melee
Type: one handed
Damage: (max) 15-31 blunt
Speed: 1.65 attack/second
Mods: head(prefix) handle(suffix)
Stats
480 health
25 energy
4 pips of energy regenertion.
Attibutes
(Primary) Honor: For each point in Honor, damage dealt to allies is reduced by 1%. Skills linked to Honor deal with helping your allies.
-Honorable Death[elite]: 15e, 1s, 30r. Enchantment spell
While you maintain this enchantment when target ally dies, allies gain +1-2 health regeneration and +0-1 energy rengeneration. Allies that die under Honorable Death do not recieve penalty
-Honor guard: 10e, instant, 45r. stance
For 1-12 seconds, 25-50% of damage dealt to nearby allies is redirected to you. Honor guard ends if your health drops below 60-30%
-"Incoming!": 5e, instant, 25r. shout
For 1-6 seconds nearbye allies have 25-50% to evade incoming projectiles.

Mace Wielding: Point in this attribute increase the damage and critical hit ratio of your mace skills, as well as rasing the power of your mace base skills.
-Reaper's Mace[elite]: 10e, 20r, mace attack
If reapers blade hits, it results in a critical hit. If your target is below 33% heath, it deals triple damage. If the target dies because of reapers mace you lose health equal to 40-20% of the damage dealt.
-Blade Breaker's stance: 10e, instant, 45r, stance
For 1-12 seconds you gain a 25-50% percent chance to block melee attacks. If you block an attack this way, thats players weapon based skills are diable for 2-24 seconds.
-Whirling Mace: 5e, 1r. mace attack
Stike all nearby foes.
-Shattering Strike: 4a. mace attack
If this attack hits your target suffers from -20 armor for 1-12 seconds.
-Low blow: 6a. mace attack
If this attack hits your foe suffers from cripple for 1-12 seconds
-Body Blow: 7a. mace attack
If this attack hits your foe suffers from deep wound for 1-12 seconds
-Heavy Strike: 8a. mace attack
If this attack hits you deal +3-36 damage

Shield Mastery: No inherent effect. Points in this attribute enhance the power of all linked skills.
-Shield Charge[elite]: 10e, instant, 20r. stance
For 8-15 seconds if you are wield a shield you move 33% faster. Anyone struck while under Shield Charge is knockdown.
-Shield Strike: 4a. Shield attack
If you are wielding a shield, you strike target foe for 12-48 blunt damage. If your target was casting a spell they are knockdown.
-Reflection: 10e, 1s, 30r. Stance
For 1-12 seconds if you are wielding a shield, whenever a foe comes with in melee range they become blinded for 1-6 seconds
-Whirling Shield: 10e, 1s, 15r. Shield attack
You spin around bashing nearby enimies with your shield. You strike all nearby foes for 12-48 blunt damage and if they were attacking they are knock down.

Holy Light: No inherent effect. Points in this attribute increases the power of all linked skills.
-Dwayna's Ward: 15e, 1s, 30r. Ward
You creat Dwayna's ward at you current location. For 10-20 seconds allies in this area gain +1-3 health rengeration.
-Self Sacrifice: 20e, 1s, 120r. skill
Sacrifice you current health. Resurrect all allies with 50-75% of you sacrifice health and 25-50% of their energy.
-Balthazars Blessing[elite]: 20e, 1s, 240r. spell
All allies gain +1-2 energy regeneration, and attack 33% faster for 1-12
seconds.
-Saintly Strike: 10e,
